- I am a Former LVPD Police Officer, was in retirement for a few years. Due to some issues, I can't serve back as an LVPD LEO. Long after my retirement, I decided to go back being a Police Officer but not in LVPD, that's why I'm applying myself in LSPD. Besides, I am a person that has a dream to serve for the country, to do what is right for the people, to protect and serve. To continue that purpose, I want to bring my experience, dedication, and discipline to a new department where I can keep contributing and uphold the values I have carried throughout my career.
- WHY SHOULD WE ACCEPT YOU AS A POLICE OFFICER ? (At least 100 word) :
- A lot of experience of being an LEO, passionate, and diligent. I'm willing to do anything as long as it's necessary and makes sense. As a candidate/cadet/rookie, I know the chain of command, knowing on how to respect the senior, and uphold a sense of responsibility. In addition to that, I always try to maintain discipline in every situation and learn from every task given to me. I believe that becoming part of the department requires dedication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly. With all of my background, I'm confident that I can contribute really well to this department.
- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEO AND CIVILIAN SOCIETY GROUP ? :
- As we know, LEO means Law Enforcement Officer. It's totally different with Civilian Society Group. We meant to protect and serve, they meant to be protected and served. Besides, LEO has a lot of responsibility and also benefits if we being realistic. As an officer, We must also uphold a professional attitude when wearing uniforms, which is very different from civilians. In many situations, LEOs are expected to make quick decisions, follow strict procedures, and maintain a high level of discipline. Civilians, on the other hand, do not carry these duties and are not required to perform such demanding tasks every day.
