- The most effective coordination between a DOJ investigator and an attorney is achieved by working closely with the prosecutor while limiting the information provided to the judge, ensuring the judge can remain independent. The key is to maintain clarity, carry out responsibilities individually, but still share any findings or admissible evidence for use in court
