PERSONAL QUESTION
- WHY DO YOU WANT TO APPLY AS A POLICE OFFICER ? (At least 100 word) :
- I have always felt a deep calling to join the police force because of the way I was raised. My father, a former police officer and SWAT Commander, instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and responsibility from a young age. Growing up under his guidance, I witnessed firsthand the sacrifices and dedication required to protect and serve the community. This environment shaped my values and motivated me to follow a similar path. In addition, my academic background in philosophy has strengthened my understanding of ethics, justice, and human behavior qualities I believe are essential for modern policing. Combining these experiences, I am determined to pursue a career as a police officer to uphold justice and make a positive impact on society.
- WHY SHOULD WE ACCEPT YOU AS A POLICE OFFICER ? (At least 100 word) :
- I believe you should accept me as a police officer because I combine a strong foundation of discipline and public service with a deep understanding of ethics and human behavior. Growing up under the guidance of my father, a former police officer and SWAT Commander, I developed integrity, resilience, and a commitment to protecting others. My degree in philosophy has strengthened my ability to think critically, make balanced decisions, and approach complex situations with fairness and empathy. I am ready to dedicate myself to serving the community, upholding the law with professionalism, and continually learning to become an even better officer.
- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEO AND CIVILIAN SOCIETY GROUP ? :
- LEO (Law Enforcement Officer)
- A Law Enforcement Officer embodies the state’s mandate to uphold moral and legal order in society. They are not merely executors of rules but symbols of justice, translating the abstract principles of law into everyday practice. In this sense, an LEO carries an ethical duty to administer justice proportionally, not simply to wield authority mechanically.
- A civilian society group represents the collective will of citizens to pursue the common good without holding coercive power. They serve as the moral voice and ethical aspirations of society, complementing the state’s role. In this way, civil society helps maintain the balance between individual freedom and social order through participation and dialogue.
