1. EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEGISLATIVE, EXECUTIVE, AND JUDICIARY IN THE GOVERNMENT SYSTEM! :
   • - THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH (CONGRESS) IS MADE UP OF TWO PARTS: THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE. THEIR JOB IS TO MAKE LAWS, DECIDE HOW THE GOVERNMENT SPENDS MONEY (THE BUDGET), APPROVE TAXES, AND REPRESENT THE PEOPLE.
     - THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH IS LED BY THE PRESIDENT (PLUS THE VICE PRESIDENT AND ALL THE GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS LIKE DEFENSE, EDUCATION, TREASURY, ETC.). THE PRESIDENT’S JOB IS TO ENFORCE THE LAWS, RUN THE COUNTRY DAY-TO-DAY, COMMAND THE MILITARY, MAKE TREATIES WITH OTHER COUNTRIES, AND APPOINT JUDGES AND IMPORTANT OFFICIALS.
