  3. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEO AND CIVILIAN SOCIETY GROUP ? :
    • The fundamental difference between a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) and a Civilian Society Group lies in their source of authority, legal powers, function, and accountability. While both may share a common goal, such as community safety, their roles and the rules they operate under are entirely distinct.
      1. Source of Authority
      LEO: A Law Enforcement Officer's authority is granted by the state (government). They are sworn agents of the state, and their power to enforce laws is derived from legislation, statutes, and the constitution. This authority is not personal; it belongs to their official position.
      Civilian Society Group: A civilian group's "authority" comes from its members through voluntary association. They have no state-granted power. They are formed by private citizens based on a shared interest, value, or goal (e.g., a neighborhood watch, an environmental advocacy group, a charity).
      2. Primary Function and Powers
      LEO: The primary function of a LEO is to enforce laws. This includes a range of powers that ordinary citizens do not have, such as the power to arrest, detain, search, and seize property under specific legal procedures. Their role is to maintain public order and respond to criminal activity.
      Civilian Society Group: The function of a civilian group is typically advocacy, service, support, or monitoring.     • Yes, I have. My experience is from a specific community on the GTA V platform, through a highly structured game server known as Prime Roleplay, where I served in the role of a police officer.
      In that capacity, my duties required strict adherence to established protocols, a clear understanding of the chain of command, and constant, effective teamwork. This role provided me with a practical foundation in key police procedures. I became proficient in proper radio communication, learned the fundamental steps of conducting a traffic stop, and understood how to coordinate with other units during high-stress situations.
